Image Gallery of Wendy North
My first camera was a Kodak Cresta 120 film camera which was an eleventh birthday present, and I’ve been taking photos ever since. I’ve always enjoyed travel and recording the places I’ve visited. A little over 18 months ago I was bitten by the Blipfoto bug and through the website and the photographers I met online, many of whom are New Zealanders, my interest in photography grew. A year ago I joined my local Photographic Club and then with some encouragement, Pixels. I’m learning lots from my online and face to face contact with photographers but still feel I’m experimenting with style and technique. I also create handmade prints in the studio and enjoy the printing press mode of creating art as well as the use of camera and computer. Living in the country, many of my photographs record life around me. I recently bought a Canon D7 and I hope to spend many happy retirement hours with it.
