Image Gallery of Meg Errington
I was born in Scotland, moved to Canada in 1976, met Mark in Malawi in 1987, got married in Vancouver and moved to New Zealand in 1989…..!
I always enjoyed photographing, but mostly ‘snaps’. When my career with the Canadian Red Cross first took me to Africa to work, I lived in a refugee camp. My eyes were opened to a life so very different to mine and for the first time, I was able to ‘see’ photographic opportunities in the landscape and wildlife in this dramatic country.
In 2009 I became involved with producing the New Zealand Camera book for the Photographic Society of New Zealand have co-ordinated it for the last 2 years. I’m a member of both the Nature Photographic Society and Pixels.
I love my photography - exploring artistic images of nature, colour, form and movement. I’m still searching for my photographic ‘passion’ but it’s great fun trying to find it!
